Wyatt is 2 months old!

On the 20th, Wyatt turned 2 months old! We went to the doctor today for his 2 month shots, which he obviously did not enjoy, but he did great!

Wyatt is now 10 lbs., 12 oz. and 22.5 inches tall. He has grown 3.5 inches since he was born and has gained 3.5 pounds!

And no update would be complete without more pictures of Jack getting wet in some way. Grandma bought Jack this pool at Wal-Mart and he spent many of the afternoons during our visit playing in it!

Jack's trip to the fire station

During our stay in Kansas, my friend Laura invited us to an outing with her local mother's group. Lucky for us, it was a visit to the fire station right across the street from my parent's house. There was a really good turn-out and Jack had tons of fun climbing in and out of the the fire trucks, looking at their flashing lights and playing around with the other kids. The only bad part is that he lost his favorite Hot Wheels Mercedes somewhere inside the fire truck, but I was not about to ask the fireman to look for his car. One day, while on a call, I'll bet they'll find his car and wonder why the heck they have a Hot Wheels in the fire truck!!!

Change of Plans -- Kansas Visit

Well, we had a change of plans and ended up flying with my mom from Colorado to Kansas for 10 days. Katie's fiance from Paris was visiting and I also had the chance to introduce Wyatt to the extended family and some friends. We didn't have reliable Internet access, so I wasn't able to update the blog for 2 weeks. We arrived back in California last night and I will update the blog when I am done unpacking (which could take awhile).

More Colorado Photos

We took the gondola in Vail to the top of the mountain to have lunch and look around at the beautiful scenery. We did the same thing last year and Jack really enjoyed it & posed for tons of cute pictures. See the picture below for an example of what we mostly got from Jack this year!
